our main color in the new living room is different nuances of grey which i think is a good base. walls are painted in a light warm grey and with the wood sections and doors in semi shiny white. love the table in glass and the fact that the non existing corners are kid friendly...the rug has some more silvery shiny threads in it so it doesnt come off to flat. got the decorative pillows in white and pink from different stores, anda side table which is more rustic in white wood and glass which has a more Hamptons style to it. The kids roll bear is from Vilac who has the cutest things for babies and toddlers.

Chose this lamp on the side table to break it up a little with the round heavy vase- like base in brown. Tips: to avoid yellowish light- go with a clear light bulb...

Another higher glass side table along the wall with raw steel frame looks with a collection of photoframes, different mirrors and a shiny silvery piggy bank on top. Underneath i just placed some big floor pillows from Ikea when we are not using them. candle holders from georg jensen.
